Project Title: What is the effect of pH on the lifespan of tadpoles.
Problem Question: How aoes the chemical affects the lifespan of the tadpoles
Hypothesis: Our group's hypothesis stated that, if one tadpole lives in neutral water and another lives in acidic water, the one in neutral will live longer. We feel that a tadpole's water is naturally neutral and if it is anything else it may be in danger of death or injury.

Apparatus and Materials Needed: 1. 6 containers 2. 6 tadpoles 3. acidic drops 4. alkaline drops 5. indicator strips 6. net 7. tadpole food 8. pure water
Experimental Procedure Setup: 1. Prepare 6 containers 2. Put the tadpole into the containers( one in each containner) 3. Put 10 drops of acidic drop on the first two containers 4. Put 10 drops of alkaline into the next 2 containers 5. Leave the last 2 containers with only pure water 6. Give them one food every day 7. replace the water everyday and put the same amount of pH 8. Make sure that the tadpoles receive the same anount of oxygen by outting them at the same place. 9. The water must also be changed and food must be fed at the same time
Independent variable: Type of pH
dependent variable: We are observing which tadpoles will survive the longest amount of time and which one dies first
controlled variables(constant) The amount of pH, amount of food, the location, same species of tadpoles, the amount of water and the size of the tadpoles
